Hot on the heels of again being named a 2021 Best Law Firm for Labor and Employment Litigation by U.S. News, the lawyers of HKH successfully defended a corporate client during a weeklong federal jury trial in Birmingham over claims of race discrimination and retaliation. The jury returned a complete defense verdict on Friday, November 13, 2020, after deliberating five hours. This jury trial was one of the first to take place in the Northern District of Alabama during the COVID-19 pandemic. HKH’s victorious trial team included Sean C. Pierce, Jonathan S.
